Display or Sound related errors while playing

If you are getting display or sound related errors try resetting your screen resolution to 800x600 in your Display Properties Control Panel:

1. Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Display".
2. Click the "Settings" Tab and then move the Screen Resolution slider bar to 800x600 pixels.
3. Click "Apply".
4. If the display appears properly, click "OK".

Also, be sure you have the most recent version of DirectX (version 9.0c). This will improve the graphics, security, and performance of your operating system. Download and install this update for Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP at:

http://www.microsoft.com/directx

Make sure you have installed the latest drivers for your sound and video cards. DirectX 9 may have problems with old device drivers.
